If you’re a returning student, welcome back. We know that last year was pretty rubbish for students, and that you missed out on a lot. Now that the world’s returning to normal we hope that together, we can help you make up for lost time.
We’re planning some proper (and properly exciting) Welcome activity, spanning over several weeks and taking place online and on campus, to ensure that everyone – whether they’re raring to go, quarantining, or just feeling a bit nervous – can get in on the action.
We want to reassure you that Freshers’ is by no means just for first years, and that every student, from second year undergrads to final year researchers, is urged to get involved. We’d love to see you at LUU’s Welcome events, and your clubs and societies will be delighted to have you at their Give It A Go sessions – as the old saying goes, “the more the merrier”.
We also know your academic experience last year might not have been what you wanted, but there are plenty of opportunities to change things for the better. Visit our Student Voice page to discover them.
Last but not least, if your health and wellbeing is still struggling after the difficult year we’ve just had, remember our Help & Support team is here to help wherever possible – there’s no issue too big or small.
