Student Voice

From refreshing a Union policy to campaigning on a national scale, we'll help you to create change
How your Union represents you
LUU is your Union, here to make sure your voice is heard.
We’re home to student representatives who make change at different levels on your behalf, chief among them your elected Exec Officers who lead the Union for the year.
We also provide democratic platforms for your ideas and suggestions including forums and referendums, and run political campaigns to amplify what Leeds students are saying on a national scale.
What elections can you vote in right now? Click here to find out.
The Rep Room
The Rep Room is based on level 1 of the Union building. It’s a hub for any and all student representation at Leeds, with room for 14 people around one big table, or 24 round smaller ones – two snug meeting rooms for more private discussions, as well as comfy bean bags and sofas.
It’s open 9-5, Monday – Friday, and is also home to the Political Engagement team – if you’ve got an idea about how to make change, come and chat to them, or drop them an email.
