Keswick is an ancient market town in the north of the Lake District National Park.
Keswick is situated in the north of Derwentwater lake and is often referred to as the “Adventure Capital of the Lake District”. This walkers’ paradise is surrounded by picturesque valleys as well as 1,200 acres of crystal-clear water.
After walking and exploring the varied terrain, we will lead you back to Keswick where you will have some free time to explore some of the shops and cafes that the Cumbrian town has to offer.
What you need to bring:
Please come in suitable footwear for uneven and unpaved terrain (walking boots or strong trainers). We also recommend you bring:
- Waterproof jacket and warm clothes
- Food and drink for during the walk
- Money to purchase items
