About this event
So you use Instagram and Facebook, and probably buy stuff on Amazon and maybe you run a blog about cat memes, but what if that could help you get a job? Whether you want to work in 'digital' or not you can still use it to your advantage to help make you more employable. In this session, the Head of Brand Communications at Brass (Leeds-based marketing agency) will talk about what he looks for when employing graduates and his thoughts on how you can use digital to help make you employable post-uni.
Harry is a long-time friend of LUU who has worked in marketing for over 10 years, focussing on digital and branding. He has worked for a variety of global and national brands including Ribena, Lucozade and First Direct delivering everything from high impact advertising, apps, social media, and brand experiences to name a few projects. However, he has never once done a marketing course and didn't even do a relevant degree - and hasn't got caught yet. Harry believes that whatever your experience you can turn that your advantage and make it work for you, not hold you back.
Please note: this workshop is only open to participants of the Recognise Award
