Nominations are open from today, Monday 18 November 2019, for the 2020 Partnership Awards and this year there is a brand new award category added to the list.
We received just over 2000 nominations last year, each of which celebrates the work done at the University of Leeds and Leeds University Union. This year, you can nominate any student at the University of Leeds or any member of staff from the University of Leeds or Leeds University Union for the following categories:
- Student Academic Rep of the Year
- Equality and Inclusion
- Inspirational Teaching
- Personal Tutor
- Positive Impact
- Postgraduate Researchers who Teach or Demonstrate
*The Global category is new for this year and celebrates staff members, students, or groups who work with a global focus. It aims to recognise excellence amongst those who have actively engaged in the promotion and maintenance of international or intercultural activities, education; or competence. It also recognises those who are involved in the internationalisation of the University of Leeds or Leeds University Union, formally or otherwise.
You can find out more details about each category and how to nominate here.
Abiha Khan, Education Officer at Leeds University Union, said “The Partnership Awards are your opportunity to recognise the people who have made your year. I’m looking forward to seeing all the nominations we get this year that celebrate the Leeds partnership and all the fantastic work that happens at the University of Leeds.”
