Results announced for LUU’s first ever digital Better Forum

Political engagement at LUU stops for nothing, and on Tuesday 12 May, LUU held its very first virtual Better Forum. The evening saw a panel of 13 randomly selected students come together via Zoom to examine and vote on ideas for change, submitted by LUU members.

For an idea to pass, it had to receive ten votes in its favour. In total, 14 ideas were voted on, and nine passed to become LUU policy for three years. The remaining ideas may be put to a campus wide referendum.
