World Unite Festival
Let's get together as a global community
The World Unite Festival (WU Fest) celebrates the diversity of Leeds. To capture the breadth of cultures in Leeds, the festival offers a great selection of activities, including singing, dancing, language exchanges, workshops, food, academic presentations and discussions. Each event encourages you to consider differing perspectives on a variety of topics relevant to internationalisation.
Our Spring WU Fest will take place on 4 - 8 March.

Getting involved as a club or a society
Clubs and societies are invited to host Give It A Go style events and workshops, such as dance classes, language exchanges, and pub quizzes. Student societies will be rewarded with up to £50 incentive funding.
Societies are also invited to perform at the WU Fest Open Mic Night or at one of our pop-up stations around the Union Building!
Please get in touch with eventsbystudents@leeds.ac.uk or use the form below to get involved.
Not a student society?
If you are not a member of a club or a society but have an event or a workshop which you think would fit in our programme, please get in touch. In previous years, we hosted academic talks, wellbeing classes, a city chase and film screenings.
