Women’s Liberation

Women's Liberation at LUU

“Sexism & misogyny is embedded in UK culture and Western societies, even now when women are more liberated than ever before, there is still a strong need for female liberation to be embedded into the work that we do. Currently nearly all women in the UK have been sexually harassed and within our student populations worries of safety are ever present. That is why we as an organisation are committed to female liberation. We want our liberation work to be forever intersectional and are working hard to ensure all those to experience misogyny feel safe and protected.” – Natasha Fowler-Ekar, Equality and Liberation Officer 2021/22
