Change in action: all the outcomes of this week’s Better Forum

Better Forums are a central part of democracy at LUU. They’re one of the main ways our student members can transform their ideas into LUU policy – and tangible change – in the Union, University and the City of Leeds. This week we held an online Forum covering each of these categories. 

The Forum saw a strong turnout of student leaders, with 58 students from across the Activities Exec, Academic Reps, Community Reps and Liberation Coordinators in attendance, alongside all five officers and a student panel of 14.

To pass, an idea needed 11 votes to reach a consensus. Here are those that passed to become Union policy for three years:
