Disabled Liberation

Disabled Liberation at LUU
“At LUU, we denounce all forms of Ableism within our organisation. We are aware that there are a lot of barriers to access and participation that we are working to remove and rectify. We recognise and want to celebrate our disabled students, whether that is with a physical disability or an invisible disability. We are all reliant on each other and as a community we should educate ourselves and support our disabled members. We actively are working towards being an Anti-ableist organisation and are focusing on inclusion and representation. We are committed to liberation for all Disabled people.”
Natasha Fowler-Ekar, Equality and Liberation Officer 2021/22
