Asian Liberation at LUU
“In Leeds, we have a vibrant and diverse Asian community. Our Asian community should feel safe, represented and protected. Anti-Asian racism is woven into our global community and we at LUU recognise and condemn this. We are actively an Anti-Racist organisation condemning racism in all forms. We want to build a community that recognises, celebrates and uplifts our Asian students. There are a lot of intersections in the Asian community – not all Asian people have the same experiences. We are committed to liberation for all Asian people.” – Natasha Fowler-Ekar, Equality and Liberation Officer 2021/22
