The Leeds Partnership

About The Leeds Partnership
LUU has joined forces with the University of Leeds to create The Leeds Partnership – bringing together students and staff to agree a set of shared expectations around the Leeds learning experience. The Partnership is a recognition of the need for students and staff to work together to enable students to make the most of the opportunities available to them during their time at uni.
The Leeds Partnership is made up of three core commitments:
- To be responsible, accessible and respectful;
- To prepare for, engage with and contribute to learning at Leeds;
- To help each other to reflect, develop and improve.
The Leeds Partnership in practice
Some of the ways the Partnership’s commitments are continuously implemented include:
- Regular programme meetings between students and teaching staff;
- Student Staff Forums for each school, including involvement of student society representatives;
- Student-run module surveys;
- Programme review sessions built into personal tutorials;
- Inclusion of students in recruitment of academic staff and prospective students;
- Student participants on all of the University’s major committees, enabling them to shape the future of the University.
The Partnership Awards
Every year we hold the Partnership Awards, celebrating the students and staff who have gone above and beyond to make the Leeds learning experience so brilliant.
