LUU Marxist Society is open to anyone who wants to learn about Marxism.

We exist to spread the ideas of Marxism on campus, campaign for a socialist solution to social problems, and believe that a better society would be one free from the evils of capitalism: war, poverty, prejudice, and pollution. We have regular meetings, socials, and campaigns geared towards building revolutionary consciousness among students.

Meetings

We have weekly meetings on different aspects of Marxist theory, history and current affairs. These are public meetings and are open to anyone, whatever your political leanings or level of understanding.

Socials

We are a friendly and sociable group, holding socials regularly through the year and we always follow our weekly meetings with a drink.

Membership

Membership of the society is free. We are officially affiliated to the Marxist Student Federation.
