What we’re all about

Vertical Fitness is a new, exciting and extremely addictive form of exercise based around the aerial art of pole dancing. In one workout it combines flexibility, strength and balance. The classes are designed to build self-confidence and make you feel good about yourself while getting fit and meeting new people. Anyone and everyone is welcome: you'll be amazed how quickly you progress.


Our current timetable for classes in Semester 1 is:

Monday 5-6pm: Flexibility (open to all levels)

Monday 6-7pm and 7-8pm: Pole (Improvers followed by Intermediates)

Tuesdays 5-6pm: Pole Jam (intermediate members only)

Tuesdays 6-7pm and 7-8pm: Pole (Beginners)

Wednesdays 5-6pm and 6-7pm: Aerial hoop (Beginners followed by Intermediate)

Wednesdays 7-8pm and 8-9pm: Pole (Beginners) 

Thursdays 5-6pm: Hoop Jam (intermediate members only)

Thursdays 6-7pm and 7-8pm: Exotic Pole (open to all levels) 

Thursdays 5-6pm and 6-7pm at Open Source Arts: Silks (Intermediate followed by beginners)

Socials and Performance opportunities 

We hold lots of amazing socials including pizza and pole jams, trips to Oxygen Freejumping, BBQ's, Otley runs and many great night outs. We also travel to the UK Pole Professional Championships and host several workshops throughout the year with pole and aerial experts from across the UK! We also have many performance opportunities throughout the year, including the LUU Dance Show, Intercomp, our annual showcase, 24-hour pole-a-thon and many more! 


Membership is £25 for the year and includes perks such as 15% off X-Pole products, discounted kit, socials, trips, workshops and free jams. We offer cards with 6 classes for just £20.
