As part of the workshop we’ll have Vanessa McFarlane, an expert Relationships and Sexual Health Educator speaking to us, followed by a panel where participants can ask their own questions to Vanessa, as well as Exec Officers Beth and Nicole. Attendees will also be provided with important resources and information about accessing support in Leeds.
We know that sex and relationships is a sensitive topic for many people, so there will be a real focus on confidentiality. Everything discussed in the workshop – as well as details of who has joined – will not leave the safe space of the call.
The workshop is being run by Leeds University Union, meaning it’s completely separate from the University itself. There’s no need to worry about getting in trouble with the University or them letting your family know that you have attended.
Healthy relationships are crucial for our health, happiness and wellbeing, so if you have any questions, concerns or curiosities, we’d love for you to join us in this safe, relaxed and confidential session, funded by the International Student Mental Health Fund.
