Boasting Academy Award-winning special effects, director Steven Spielberg and his effects team deliver some stunningly realistic dinosaurs in this 90s classic. Paleontologists Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) and grumpy mathematician Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) are selected for a preview tour of a secluded an island theme park, populated by dinosaurs created from prehistoric DNA. Whilst the park's owner, John Hammond (Richard Attenborough), assures everyone that the park is safe, they find that the dinosaurs are not so easily tamed, and they're hungry. This screening is taking place at the University of Leeds Outdoor Screen – presented by the Hyde Park Picture House and Leeds University Union. If bad weather is forecast, we will contact you on the morning of the performance and we will endeavour to provide an alternative indoor location. If an outdoor screening goes ahead but we do experience light rain, free ponchos will be made available to everyone. In the event of unexpected heavy rain, the screening will be halted and customers will receive an email allowing them to book a free ticket to a future screening.
