Enjoyed our collab between LUU Soken Word Society and LUU Comedy Society last semester? Had a good laugh giving improv a go? Or just came to hear some spoken word? Whatever it was that tickled your fancy, our “Taking The Mic” open mic is back! This Friday, 26th March at 6:00 pm GMT, LUU Comedy Society will perform an Armando style improv live, inspired by your spoken word pieces! All we ask is that you bring in some upbeat pieces with one or more of the following elements (if possible) to set up the scene for improv: (1) Name of a town (2) 5-6 characters (3) A rumour going around town. It's okay if you’re just coming to watch too! We’ll be having an open mic in the first half and an improv stage in the second! Can’t wait to see you all there!
