Taking regular breaks from your studies can really help to refresh and re-energise so you can work more effectively when you head back. We've designed our Spaces to Relax to be the ideal change of scenery for you to relax and have some me time.
We'll be filling the foyer with Lumie Lights, designed to lift mood, boost concentration and restore natural energy, making them a fantastic resource to help you get the light intake you need over the winter months.
We will also have Lumie lamps in our room upstairs where you can study, focus and recharge. If you want a change from the library or home, just pop along to Room 5 on Level 2 which will be a quiet space for casual study. This will be open every weekday during exam time (13-24 January) between 9am - 7pm.
There will be a selection of mindfulness activities and some free snacks to help you make the most of your break. Between 11am and 2pm we'll also have free hot drinks available so bring along your reusable cup to help us reduce waste.
For a longer break, don't miss our programme of wellbeing events with a wide range of activities designed to ease the pressures of the exam period, including Exercise, Meditation and Craft.
If you are struggling at any point pop and speak to the Help & Support team in the foyer. We can be here for you just to listen or we can signpost to additional support on registering mitigating circumstances or getting more one on one support over the period.
It's totally normal to feel stressed over the exam period but by taking some time to focus on your wellbeing, we can get through this together.
