About this event
Leeds University Union is working to close the BAME awarding gap at the University of Leeds. Closing the BAME Awarding Gap is now LUU policy for the next three years after it was voted on and passed by the student body at our Better University Forum.
Your Education Officer, Abiha Khan, would like to present student experiences of the BAME Awarding Gap to university staff to raise awareness of this issue in higher education.
This workshop will develop creative ways in which students can present their experience of the BAME Awarding Gap. It will also be an opportunity to develop a peer network and share your experiences with other students.
The event will take place in Liberty Building SR (1.08), University of Leeds.
This event is for students who identify as Black, Asian or Ethnic Minority.
