Give & Take x Together For Peace: Ethics for the University’s Relationships

At LUU we’re always looking for new ways to engage our members in discussion and debate on campus. We want you to feel empowered to ask difficult questions, hear sides of the argument you might not have considered before and be confident in questioning your own beliefs. We’re delighted to have teamed up with Together For Peace for this digital Give & Take exploring the question; “Should the University cease relationships with any academic institutions that are complicit in breaking International Law?”

This idea was discussed at our Better Forums but the panel was unable to reach a consensus, so we want to open it up to our student body to discuss, digest and dissect ahead of a campus-wide referendum. You’ll be hearing from the proposer as well as other campaigners, before Together For Peace facilitates a series of small group discussions where everyone will have a chance to be heard.
