Talk mental health with Movember Ambassador Fraser MacDonald-Lister
26 November 2020, 7:00 pm-8:00 pm
Men’s health is in crisis, with men dying on average 6 years earlier than women - for often preventable reasons. Since 2003, leading men’s health charity Movember has been funding groundbreaking projects around the world, tackling issues including mental health and suicide prevention, as well as prostate and testicular cancers.
As part of this year’s Movember effort, we’re excited to be welcoming Movember Ambassador Fraser MacDonald-Lister to discuss his experiences with mental health after losing his father at a young age, and how the Movember charity helped him to cope through opening up about his feelings. While at university, Fraser was the top Movember student fundraiser in the UK, and since then has continued to raise money for the charity through numerous fundraising events. Since 2016 he has raised more than £10,000 for the cause.
