About this event
Explore the heather moorlands and cobbled streets to see the place that inspired Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre and other Brontë novels.
This famous Yorkshire village was home to the Brontë sisters- Charlotte, Emily and Anne.
There will be two walking routes up to 12km stopping regularly to appreciate the views and points of interest. There will also be time to wander and explore the cobbled streets of Haworth village which is full of galleries, cafes, interesting shops and friendly pubs. Please note that the length of time to explore Haworth will depend on which route option you pick.
We will depart by coach from the Parkinson Steps at 09:00 returning at approximately 16:00. We would like to emphasise the need for good outdoor walking shoes or strong trainers (you don’t mind getting muddy) plus a layer of waterproof clothing.
