About this event
We are heading further north than we ever have before as we visit Housesteads Fort and discover the area around Hadrian’s Wall. We will explore this rolling countryside in the heart of Northumberland.
This walk will be more of a hike as the terrain here is not as well paved as other walks we provide so please bring appropriate footwear. This trip will not include a stop at any villages so please bring food for the day with you.
We will depart by coach from the Parkinson Steps at 08:00 returning at approximately 18:30. We would like to emphasise the need for good outdoor walking shoes or boots, a waterproof jacket, a drink's bottle and a packed lunch.
Please note: This is a more strenuous walk, If you buy a ticket then please be prepared for this.
A final details email will be sent out on the Thursday before the trip.
