‘Man’ stands for stands for the mind and ‘tra’ stands for liberation. Mantra workshops will use music and yoga to focus and relax one’s racing mind. It is an ancient and uplifting form of meditation that is widely performed now under the name of sankirtan.
The session will begin with 30 mins of yoga (beginners and experts are welcome!) led by Kathryn Sheard a yoga instructor at Leeds Yoga followed by 30 minutes of mantra meditation.
Bring your yoga mats along if you have them, but don’t worry if you don’t have one. We will have a few available to use. Dress comfortably!
