About this event
This trip is an opportunity for you to go for a fun cycle on the University’s new Bodington Cycle Circuit. We will take you through the basics on the traffic free 1 mile long track where you can practice your cycling skills in safety and develop your cycling fitness.
If you enjoy this experience then we have regular repeats of these Saturday trips to help develop your fitness, skills and knowledge.
We have bikes and helmets on site that you can use and a friendly activator and instructor to provide the basic tips on how to use a bike to get you going. The bikes we are hiring will be road bikes, so if you are considering buying one this is a perfect chance to try them out.
You need to be able to ride a bike to attend this session.
We will meet you at the Bodington Cycle Circuit at 10:50am for an 11.00am start on the track. We will then give you any equipment you require and set you off on the track.
This will cover:
- hire of bikes and helmets
