Climbing Trip to City Bloc.

This trip provides an opportunity for you to do bouldering City Bloc, an indoor bouldering centre created by four former members of the Great British Bouldering Team. They created a bouldering wall that allows beginners to develop the best climbing techniques and also provides experienced climbers quality competition style routes. Bouldering involves climbing a route of around 10 moves to navigate the problem using just shoes and chalk to give you grip, no ropes involved.

We will be leaving at 12.30pm from University and taking you down to City Bloc climbing all on the other side of Leeds city centre. We will be climbing from 13:00 to 14:00 and will have an experienced climber there to give you tips and advice. Once off the wall we will have a little time there for a drink from the cafe and then transport you back to the University for roughly 2.45pm.

Cost

£5.00 (hire of shoes will cost £1 extra on the day)

This will cover:
- transport to and from City Bloc
- advice on the wall
