What we’re all about
LUUPC aim to make polo as accessible, affordable and welcoming as possible. We train at White Rose Polo Club near York and welcome polo players of any ability - from complete beginners to regular competitors. We often compete in friendly chukkas (matches), tournaments and the biannual SUPA inter-university nationals, the biggest polo tournaments in the UK.
Our Give It A Go session will be held at White Rose on 14 October, giving potential new members the chance to try polo.
We train primarily at 'White Rose Polo Club', usually on Wednesday afternoons and Saturdays. We sometimes also run Thursday sessions based on demand. Members are free to come to as many or as few lessons as they would like. They are mostly mixed ability, however lessons are sometimes organised just for our beginner or more advanced members. They cost £35, which includes transport.
Membership is £20 during freshers week, or £25 thereafter, for the full year.
