We're pleased to announce that change has been made regarding the policy passed in November 2018, LUU should lobby the University to install Ecosia as the default search engine on University computers.
From Monday 27 January, the University of Leeds became the first Russell Group University to install the Ecosia search engine across all student computers across campus. Ecosia uses the profit they make from searches to plant trees, and since being founded in 2009 over 84 million trees have been planted.
You can easily find out more about this policy and other policy at LUU on our policy pages of the website.
