Nominations are now open to go to the NUS National Conference in 2020.
Here’s your chance to represent students from Leeds at a national level, give your CV a boost and meet other students from across the country in Liverpool from 31 March - 2 April 2020. There are 10 places available to go as a Leeds University Union delegate and 5 of these are reserved for people who identify as women or non-binary.
You have until 29 November to put yourself forward which you can do by following this link.
Lauren Huxley, Union Affairs Officer at Leeds University Union, said: “This is an excellent opportunity to help shape the future for students at the University of Leeds by having their say at a national level. I encourage anyone who wants to make an impact on issues that students care about to put themselves forward and not miss out on this chance.”
Everybody who nominates themselves will then be put forward to a campus-wide vote between 9 - 13 December. If you are successful in becoming a Leeds University Union NUS delegate, then all of your expenses and accommodation for the conference trip will be covered.
