Leeds Ball 2025: Your Checklist

The event you’ve been waiting for all year is almost here—Leeds Ball is happening tomorrow! This sold-out celebration is the biggest night on the student calendar, and campus is set to be completely transformed into one massive party.

We’re pulling out all the stops to make this a night to remember – from drag shows, incredible DJs, and fairground rides, to a silent disco and mouthwatering food from some of the city’s top vendors, including our very own Old Bar BBQ.

There’s something for everyone—so bring your best vibes, your dancing shoes, and get ready to kick off summer in style.

Wear something comfortable

Leeds Ball is exactly what it sounds like – a huge party to celebrate the end of the year with lots of dancing. There’s no dress code – just wear something you feel good in.

Bring your ID

Don’t forget to bring your ID! You will be required to present it upon entry. And it must be a valid physical ID, not a picture of it on your phone.

Bring your ticket

Might seem straightforward, but sometimes the simplest things are the ones we forget most easily! Make sure your Leeds Ball ticket is ready on your phone, and that your phone is fully charged.

Arrive early

Performances and activities will begin at 6pm as the doors open – don’t miss out!

Your ticket grants you the entry to enjoy all the music and live performances, and a variety of fun activities like Neon Golf and Roller Disco, so make sure to immerse yourself in everything the party has to offer.

Entry & exit

The main Leeds Ball entrance is via University Road, where you will be directed through entry lanes. If you have any ticketing issues, you can visit the box office nearby.

Please note: You can’t re-enter after exiting the entrance!

Your safety is our top priority

Security checks (bag searches) will take place at the entrance, so please allow extra time and ensure you aren’t bringing any prohibited items! These include:

  • Sharp objects
  • Drugs or drug paraphernalia
  • Fireworks
  • Knives
  • Firearms or imitation items (including sprays)
  • Aerosols
  • Glass bottles (including perfumes)
  • Flags/ banners
  • Flammable liquids or gases
  • Toxic or corrosive chemical

 

Security reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone at any time.

Stay hydrated

You can get free water from our bars and refill stations.

Treat yourself to some food

There will be plenty of food options to keep you fuelled throughout the night.

Please note: Food is not included in your ticket, so be prepared for additional expenses.

Take a break, if needed

If you want to sit down, relax and play some games, head over to Crossroads in Union Square.
