Climate Week 2023

As you probably know, human-induced climate change is the greatest threat to humanity and the natural environment that the world has ever faced. Raised global temperatures increase the risk of severe droughts, hurricanes, air pollution, higher sea levels and direct heat. This is predicted to displace millions of people, exacerbate food and water shortages, and worsen poverty, conflict, disease, and mass migration. Although it demands radical change, it’s not too late to keep the world at the 1.5 degrees of warming goal. This is why climate change mitigation is so important and why LUU is hosting our third Climate Week, from Monday 27 March to Friday 31 March.
