1. Listen to some live music
Leeds Ball is a unique opportunity to get the musical variety of a festival without the mud and portaloos of the real thing. With a star-studded line-up including multi-award winning Rudimental, Ms Banks, Kelli-Leigh, Willow Kayne and Love Island star-turned singer Wes Nelson, Leeds Ball attendees are in for a treat for the ears this June. Head over to our Leeds Ball web app to hear what our headline acts are set to offer.

2. Get your skates on at the Roller Disco
We’re elevating your normal club night experience with the addition of roller skates, to help you glide round the dance floor and live out your retro disco dreams. You’re bound to have a rolly good time. Skates provided.

3. Dance to our DJ sets
From our famous Fruity Fridays you already know we’re all about a great night out, so we’re spoiling you with loads of different DJs this Leeds Ball. Dan Hills, Woody Cook, Applebum and more will be taking to the decks throughout the night, to keep you dancing ‘til 6am. Find out more about our DJs and what they’ll be playing over on our Leeds Ball web app.

4. Have fun on a fairground ride
Hours of fun await with Leeds Ball’s campus fairground! Choose from three classic rides including a ferris wheel, dodgems and ‘Miami Fever’ for the perfect break from dancing. The rides are a guaranteed hit at every Leeds Ball, so don’t miss out!

5. Lip sync for your life at Life's a Drag
Our favourite Leeds drag queens are back at LUU for Life’s a Drag! Join Ruby, Imani Versace Blaze, Maya Pinion, Deville and Syphilicious as they perform up a storm. The night is set to be full of fabulous performances, laughter and – of course – lip sync battles (with LUU vouchers up for grabs for winners) – and we strongly encourage singing and dancing from the audience! Why not get your sparkle on at our glitter station before the show for the full glamorous effect?

6. Sing your heart out at karaoke
What’s better than belting out your favourite song with all your friends in tow? Not much, we reckon. If you think you could be the next Doja Cat or Dave, now’s your chance to prove it – step into the Leeds Ball limelight with our dedicated karaoke room.

7. Keep yourself going with our food stalls
Running from 9pm – 6am, chances are you’ll need some sustenance at some point during the night. While there’s no sit-down meal, we’ve got you covered, with a range of food stalls serving up tasty treats, including Delice D’ivoire, Vegan Spice and Old Bar BBQ and Chip Stacks. Food and drink is the only thing you’ll need to pay for on top of your ticket, so remember to bring your card along.

8. Sing and dance at the silent disco
A silent disco is always a winner, but there’s one way to improve it – make it Fruity! Grab your wireless headphones and dance the night away to non-stop Fruity tunes – which channel will you choose?

9. Stay hydrated with our bars
Dancing is thirsty work, but our bars will be fully stocked with all your favourite drinks, alcoholic and otherwise. Our official sponsor for Leeds Ball 2022 is Thatchers, who’ve been making tasty cider on Myrtle Farm since 1904, ranging from classic Gold to alcohol-free Zero, and plenty of innovative fruity flavours. Very appropriate.

10. Have a go at some retro arcade or casino games
We’re bringing the arcade vibes to campus with retro games including Pacman, Donkey Kong and Space Invaders, as well as 15 retro consoles including Nintendo 64, Dreamcast and Gamecube plus classics like Mario Kart and Guitar Hero. If you fancy some old-school fun, we’ve got you covered.
