LUU’s Reopening Roadmap

The world is slowly returning to normality, and so are we. From Monday 26 April we’re super excited to be able to welcome you back to the building, as our outlets and services gradually reopen to students in line with Government guidelines and what’s safest for our students and staff.

To make things simple, we’ve put together a webpage which outlines our reopening roadmap, covering when our pubs, cafés and shops reopen, plus activities and events that are relevant to you. The page has been created to help inform your plans for coming back to campus – so whether it’s a takeaway coffee for revision fuel, or beers at Old Bar before heading off for the summer, we hope the roadmap will help you feel confident about returning to campus.

Our Cafés Manager Jess said: 

“We’re really excited to be opening our doors to customers again. Our coffee machines in Common Ground have been lonely for the last few months and our baristas are looking forward to getting back to flexing their skills and serving you your flat whites again! We can’t wait to find out what your favourite flavours of Scream ice cream are.”

Complete with opening times and an outline of the Covid rules that will apply, the roadmap contains everything you need to know about using our on-campus services this spring and summer.

  • Common Ground: 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday
  • Scream: 11am to 4pm Monday to Friday
  • Union Shop: 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday
  • Gear: 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday
  • Old Bar: 11am to 11pm Monday to Friday & 12pm to 11pm Saturday and Sunday
  • Co-op: 8am to 9pm Monday to Friday, 10am to 9pm Saturday, & 12pm to 6pm Sunday
  • Humpit: 11am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday
  • Wok&Go: 11am to 9pm Monday to Friday & 12pm – 8pm Saturday
  • Pearls Bubble Tea: 12pm to 4:30pm Monday to Friday
