What we’re all about

Who are we? What do we do?

  • We are the student-led mental health society at the University of Leeds. We provide support services, with a weekly peer group/drop-in session running at LUU, and with our website, which houses our Leeds-based mental health signposting hub.
  • We run campaigns, talks, workshops, and sessions around mental health - with an Education Officer committee position, we extend this to Schools too.
  • We also provide mental health related content through our social media channels (see below!).
  • Membership is free! After you join (using the link on the right hand side of this page), please join our Facebook page (and our mailing list, if you fancy) to keep up to date.

Volunteering:

Anyone with an interest in mental health volunteering is also encouraged to join and follow our Facebook page/mailing list where we will post info on our volunteering opportunities with our support group/schools work/campaigns, or even as a committee member. If you become a volunteer, you'll be added to our separate volunteering group. If you have any ideas or questions, message or email us at luumindmatters@gmail.com!
