As a resident of Leeds, there's loads you can do to ensure your community is a clean place that everyone can enjoy.

Whether it's reusing unwanted items, recycling rubbish or removing waste, we have the information you need to Leave Leeds Tidy. We've been running for six years, and in that time we've diverted over 85 tonnes of stuff from landfill!

Leave Leeds Tidy is a year round project run by the council, universities, Unipol, Emmaus and St Vincents.  Have an explore through this website or visit our Love Leeds Charity Shop (located in the Leeds University Union building) to find out more, donate your unwanted items on our Collection Days or to pick up a bargain for your home or wardrobe!

Find out how you can give your stuff a second chance. You could even make some money while you're at it!

When you can't reuse, then you should recycle. Find out where and what to recycle here.

Sometimes things just have to be binned. We have some useful info on local tips and waste collection.

Unipol and Leeds University Union have also eamed up to launch a brand new website called Rate Your Landlord. It is open to all students in Leeds and, like TripAdvisor, lets tenants leave a review about their renting experience for others to read.
