If you are committed and highly motivated with an ability to work in a demanding and fast paced, democratic organisation, then this role will be great for you.
You will be working in a professional team offering tailored one to one advice, support and representation to our students on a wide range of issues. You will also get the chance to enhance our digital support to students by creating innovative and engaging online content.
You must be able to work within a team and offer a high quality service to our students on a broad range of advice, including housing, academic issues and complex emotional challenges. You will be representing and negotiating on behalf of clients, so you will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to manage and prioritise varying work demands.
You will work across our Help and Support service, with a range of support services across campus and external agencies across the city. There will also be great opportunities to be involved in a range of creative and dynamic projects within our Strategic Plan. You will work both onsite at LUU and remotely, depending on the needs of the service.
To help us reach out to our diverse student community we would welcome candidates that are from an ethnic minority background and Mandarin speakers.
If you would like an informal chat about the role, please contact Andrea Kerslake (0113) 3801421 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
