We’re looking for a Forum Facilitator to work closely with the Political Engagement Team here at LUU to ensure that the student voice is heard, and our members are able to make change. The role will allow you to see and support a sector-leading democratic structure – the Better Forums – and play a key role in debates, elections, Question Times and more across the year. You’ll get to meet lots of fellow students via the Forums, as well as candidates in LeadLUU, local MPs and the Vice-Chancellor. It will be a great opportunity for you to develop your communication, chairing and facilitation skills.
In the team we aim to help more students believe in their own efficacy and to create change on campus, in the city and in the wider world. However we never stop trying to be better at what we do. This makes for a vibrant, challenging environment. Students are central to our work and each year we are amazed by their enthusiasm, ideas and achievements. We are looking for a like-minded, driven individual who can help us deliver key projects within the Union and help ensure the student voice is heard and celebrated.
