Leeds University Union (LUU) is seeking a ‘Development and Engagement Coordinator (Clubs, Societies and Volunteering)’ to join our team and be an integral part of creating a positive student experience. We want all our student leaders to thrive within their societies and create a sense of belonging and community for their members.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, driven, imaginative and who cares about developing and enabling students to reach their potential as leaders. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a great team – we need your enthusiasm, productivity and excellent interpersonal skills so that we can provide the best service possible for our students.
Each Development and Engagement Coordinator is responsible for a varied and exciting portfolio of clubs and societies. You can view our categories and individual groups on the LUU website.
As a student’s union we are closed over the Christmas holiday period and on bank holidays so we have the best hours in the business!
We have great internal training opportunities and we are looking for someone who has a real passion for helping us make sure every student loves their time at Leeds.
We offer 26 days’ holiday (plus generous statutory and customary closure days) and a pension scheme.
Note: we are currently midway through a project including consulting with staff to establish what the working arrangements (office/remote/flexible etc.) will be beyond September.
