Leeds University Union is a charity that helps over 38,000 students love their time at Leeds. Located at the heart of campus, the Union is a space to meet people, make new friends and get involved.
We are creating a new team of student Health and Wellbeing Ambassadors to help deliver an innovative and empowering health and wellbeing outreach project in faculties on campus. The aim is to empower students to make a positive impact on their own wellbeing. LUU is seeking to put in place preventative measures to reduce the number of students dealing with more serious mental health issues.
As an Ambassador you will engage with students within a designated faculty or faculties, helping to develop and deliver tailored activities and events, aimed at supporting and enhancing students wellbeing.
We are looking for candidates with an understanding of the challenges students face and have the skills to help empower others to actively engage in improving and their health and wellbeing.
You must have excellent communication and presentation skills, be able to work as part of a team and be self motivated.
