Why Follow When You Can Lead? Women of Colour, Entrepreneurship Panel and Networking Event | WCRW 2021

8 June 2021, 6:00 pm-8:00 pm

Join us for an evening of learning, inspiration and growth! We will be discussing topics such as: overcoming adversities when entering Entrepreneurship, confidence, setting up, getting your work out there, support systems, mentoring advice and HOW our panellist created and started their businesses. We have a wide range of panellists, ranging from Chloé Elliott (Previous Equality and Diversity Officer), founder & CEO of Odyssey Box, supplying natural hair products and information. As well as Ope and Taiwo Adegbulu , Co-Founders of Omolola Jewellery, a Black owned brand known for its gorgeous afrocentric jewellery. And many more Women of Colour Entrepreneurs who are happy to answer your questions, inspire and speak on their journeys! The first hour will be a panel discussion, which will then be followed by a 30minute networking event for students to connect with other students (via breakout rooms). It doesn’t matter if you're already a working entrepreneur, have a rough business idea, or simply want to learn about non-traditional routes towards a career path! This event is for anyone who is intrigued by entrepreneurship and wants the right people to learn more! The event is open to all students who’d like to join. However, given this event is a safe space for women and people of colour, and that space should be respected.
