What we’re all about
LUU Feminist Society exists to provide a support network and platform for all feminist members of the Union. It is a friendly and passionate society dedicated to raising awareness of feminist issues and campaigning for changes around the University and the city of Leeds where the welfare and wellbeing of women are threatened.
We raise awareness through hosting guest speakers, running various campaigns and debating key issues.
Our meetings are held every Thursday 6-7pm in Baines Wing. Check out our Facebook group for the discussion topic and exact location.
We are very social and host a number of events from film screenings, nights out and trips.
Our next social is on 4th December and we will be heading to the Great Escape Game Leeds. Tickets are available online. More details here.
Our last meeting of the semester is a film screening in aid of Basis Yorkshire, on Wednesday 5th December at 7pm in Baines Wing 1.14!
More details can be found on our Facebook page.
