Conservation Volunteers

What we’re all about

Conservation Volunteers get involved in hands-on conservation work around Leeds. Their main activities range from preserving local woodland, planting and habitat management. The society is perfect for anyone who loves the outdoors, nature and wildlife and who wants to contribute to their preservation and development.

We organise trips throughout the year including Ben Nevis, the Peak District and the Yorkshire Dales.

We end each task day with a well earned pint and we also organise regular social events which can range from Otley Runs to nature walks and bowling.
