Society Stars

We’re bringing back Society Stars in the lead up to the Riley Awards 2023, so that we can highlight and celebrate the wonderful work of our clubs and societies at LUU.

We’ll be inviting students to let us know about a society they think should be celebrated for what they do, and rewarding those who are nominated.

If your group is chosen as a Society Star, we’ll help promote your society on social media from our Activities & Opportunities Officer, as well as a shoutout on Leeds Student Radio!

It’s an exciting opportunity to get your society and its activities in front of our wider student community, boosting your membership and getting you the recognition you deserve.

All you need to do to nominate a fantastic student group for Society Stars is to come to the Activities helpdesk on level 1 of the LUU building, fill in a nomination slip and post it in the star box! Winners will be randomly selected each week by the Activities & Opportunities Officer.

Please remember there is a separate form to nominate for Riley Awards.
