What is SLAPSoc?

The Spanish, Latin American, and Portuguese Society is for students from the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures, ERASMUS students, and anybody else interested in lively Hispanic cultures. This is your chance to meet other students from across the department and enjoy your Uni experience.

GET INVOLVED!

Whether you’re a fresher, second year, returning fourth year or even an international student make sure you get involved in SLAPSoc as it promises to be a year full of unmissable events and opportunities. Our society provides a large network of students the chance to connect and socialise with so many events throughout year, and there is something for everyone! If you fancy getting involved we have a men's football team, a women's netball team shared with other MFL societies, and many socials including film nights, a trip to Spain, the Modern Languages Ball and of course, plenty of fiestas, with special deals and discounts for our members!
