History of LUUOC
LUUOC (Leeds University Union Orienteering and Fell Running Club) is now entering its seventh year. With recent successes including our club tour to Sweden, good results at BUCS 2017, a fantastic Give it a Go (nominated for Best Event at the Riley Awards) and organisation of BUCS 2014 in Leeds (winner of Best Event at the Riley Awards).
Training
We run regular training in and around Leeds. We travel to local club events on Wednesday evenings and at weekends. This is a mixture of navigation and fitness training. We attend Fell Races at weekends and organise regular group runs. Our sessions cater for everyone from those still getting to grips with the sport to elite athletes (or so we like to think).
