MT boasts a history of professional standard, high-quality shows with casts of up to 25 performers.
We produce two musicals every semester, one large scale production in LUU’s Riley Smith Theatre and another more intimate show in Pyramid Theatre. We put on the classics of musical theatre as well as newer, fresher shows. All members are given the opportunity to reach their dramatic potential, regardless of ability and experience and we can help anyone to improve. Please note that you do not need to buy a membership until you have successfully auditioned for a show.

In MT we put a focus on singing and acting in our productions. Our shows for semester two of the 2019/2020 calendar are ‘Little Women’ and ‘Company’. We usually rehearse on Wednesday and Thursday evenings and Saturdays with extra rehearsals leading up to show week.
Throughout the year our social secs organise a range of socials and we can regularly be seen busting shapes in Fruity.
