Lacrosse (W)

LUU Women's Lacrosse Club welcomes players of all abilities, from elite and experienced athletes to complete beginners.

We have two teams competing at a high level in BUCS leagues, as well as a full developmental programme for players who want to try out the sport for the first time or pick it up again. Our teamwork continues off the pitch. We have a thriving social calendar, bringing together every member of the society in a friendly and accessible environment.

Training

Tuesdays

7pm-8.30pm at Weetwood – Squad Team Training

Wednesdays
BUCS matches for 1st and 2nd teams

Fridays 
6pm-8pm at Weetwood – beginners and development training

Sundays

4pm-6pm at Weetwood – mixed training

Socials

We hold weekly socials on Wednesday nights after our matches, offering fab fancy dress themes and joint socials with other sports societies.

Membership

Membership fees are paid for at the beginning of term once the sessions have started.

Committee elections

Our AGM for the 2020-21 committee elections will take place in April 2021, with nominations opening during the Easter break.
