Irish Dancing

LUU Irish Dancing Society are an inclusive society always hoping to meet new dancers from all backgrounds and abilities.

No experience is necessary as we have classes suitable for all levels, so theres no better time to try something new! We are an established and popular feature of the Irish community around Leeds, performing at different events throughout the year, and in 2018 we were awarded Best Dance Society at the Riley Awards!

We accept both student and non-student members (18+).

CLASS INFO

We run classes for all abilities, so there’s something for everyone! All classes will be delivered through Zoom for the foreseeable future.

Beginners = No/very limited Irish dance experience

Intermediate = Some Irish dance experience

Advanced = Very experienced/competitive Irish dancer

 

CLASS TIMES

Tuesdays (from 2nd Feb)

5-6pm: Beginners Heavies

6-7pm: Intermediate Heavies

7-8pm: Advanced Heavies

Thursdays (from 4th Feb)

5-6pm: Beginners Lights

6-7pm: Intermediate Lights

7-8pm: Advanced Lights
