Socials and events
We offer many socials throughout the year. These will range from themed pub crawls, club nights, quizzes, and secret socials. You should also keep your eyes peeled for the infamous GeogSoc holiday! We will also be holding a charity event to raise money for some Geography related charities.
This is an excellent way to get to know people who study geography. This wide variety of socials means that there is something for everyone, so feel free to get involved!
Memberships
A lifetime membership will cost you just £35 and this includes a free t-shirt, access to bar tabs at socials and many more discounts!
Alternatively, you can buy a yearly membership for £15.
Sports
You can also join the GeogSoc Netball and Football team. The teams play against other societies and also hold team socials throughout the year. If you’re interested, make sure to follow updates on their Facebook pages.
This is a great way to enjoy sport and compete with your fellow coursemates! Come along to trials following freshers!
