What we’re all about
We're part of a national network of student groups helping support people in crisis. Get involved in advocacy, fundraising and discover amazing local and international volunteer opportunities with the Red Cross.
Fundraising & Socials
We hold regular fundraising events and volunteer socials which are a great chance to get to know like-minded students and people working at the heart of the British Red Cross. We also organise training courses, such as First Aid training and Mental Health Awareness training.
Membership is £3. This goes towards enabling us to finance any necessary costs for our fundraising events, for example buying ingredients for a bake sale. Most fundraising events are for anyone to come along to but we do run bucket collections and volunteering for events which require membership to get involved. Members will get discounts at our events and for our First Aid Training courses. If you want to join the committee you also need to have membership to apply.
Give It A Go!
We will be running our Give It A Go session on the 6th November, check out our Facebook event for more details: https://www.facebook.com/events/761552130961493/
